I don't know about the Z32, but when I dropped on my Z31 I made sure the reverse and neutral switches were OK - frayed cables, etc. I had to replace the reverse switch. Clean tranny, replace old rubber hoses now at easy reach, rear seals - tranny and motor. I'd also check the front suspension members - torque, condition, etc!!! since they're right there!
